Fax Settings


On this page you can override the default settings for fax options specified in the Fax Settings or/and in the Outgoing VOIP Call Routing rule.


Fax Mode (override)

Select this check box to override the default fax mode specified in the Fax Settings. On the right, select T.38 (auto) to send a fax with T.38 support (/FaxProtocol=t38 command line option). Select audio to send an audio fax over G.711 codec (/FaxProtocol=audio command line option). Select isdn to send a fax via ISDN CAPI 2.0 line (/FaxProtocol=isdn command line option).

Fax Station ID (override)

Select this check box to override the default Fax Station ID specified in the Fax Settings or in the Outgoing VOIP Call Routing rule (/FaxStationID= command line option). The transmitting station identifier for the sender's device is transmitted to the recipient when an outgoing fax is sent, and it may appear in the display of the recipient's fax machine. The Fax Station ID is transmitted at the top of each faxed page. Usually consists of the sender's fax number and business name. The Fax Station ID is limited to 20 characters.

Fax HeadLine (override)

Select this check box to override the default Fax HeadLine specified in the Fax Settings or in the Outgoing VOIP Call Routing rule (/FaxHeader= command line option). Fax HeadLine string is transmitted at the top of each faxed page. The Fax HeadLine is limited to 50 characters.
