Fax Settings


On this page you can override the default settings for fax options specified in the Mail to Fax (Mail to Audio) Settings.


Use default Mail to Fax settings

If this option checked, the default settings for fax options are used.


Fax Mode, Fax Station ID and Fax Header

In this area, you can specify custom settings for fax options that will be applied to the current rule only.


Fax Mode

Specify the fax mode to be used. Select T.38 (auto) if you want to send faxes with T.38 support. Select audio if you want to send faxes as audio (fax over G.711 codec). Select isdn if you want to send faxes via ISDN CAPI 2.0 line. This option overrides the default Fax Mode, specified in the Fax Settings.


Use default

To change Fax Mode, uncheck this option. If this option is checked, the default Fax Mode is used.

Fax Station ID

Fax Station ID to be used. It is transmitted to the recipient when an outgoing fax is sent, and it may appear in the display of the recipient's fax machine. The Fax Station ID is transmitted at the top of each faxed page. Usually consists of the sender's fax number and business name. The Fax Station ID is limited to 20 characters. This option overrides the default Fax Station ID, specified in the Fax Settings or in the Outgoing VOIP Call Routing settings.


Use default

To change Fax Station Id, uncheck this option. If this option is checked, the default Fax Station Id is used.

Fax HeadLine

Fax HeadLine to be used. It is transmitted at the top of each faxed page. The Fax HeadLine is limited to 50 characters. This option overrides the default Fax HeadLine, specified in the Fax Settings or in the Outgoing VOIP Call Routing settings.


Use default

To change Fax HeadLine, uncheck this option. If this option is checked, the default Fax HeadLine is used.
