Store in a folder Outgoing Routing Method

Parent Previous Next

When sending faxes and audio messages, you can configure Store in a folder Outgoing Routing Method to copy outgoing faxes and audio messages to specified local or network folders. Depending on the recipient's phone number, type of the call (fax or audio), and the success or failure of sending the fax or audio message, outgoing fax or audio message can be routed to different folders.

The behavior is defined by the so-called rules. Fax Voip T.38 Console always checks Store in a folder rules, starting with the rule # 1. The fax or audio message will be routed according to the first rule, which satisfies the specified conditions. All other rules are ignored. For example, if rule # 1 applies for all outgoing faxes and audio messages ('Recipient Number' = .*; 'Fax' = yes; 'Audio' = yes; 'OK' = yes; 'Failed' = yes), then other rules # 2, # 3, etc. applied to outgoing faxes and audio messages never be able to work under any conditions.

Every rule can be enabled or disabled. If the rule is disabled, Fax Voip T.38 Console takes this rule into account (as in the case of enabled) but does not copy faxes and audio messages to the specified folders. This can be used to temporarily disable store in a folder procedure for a specified recipient's phone number.

To store an outgoing fax or audio message in the specified folder, you must:

Outgoing fax or audio message can be routed to one or more local or network folders. The format for saving outgoing faxes can be TIFF, PDF or SFF. Audio messages can be stored in WAV format.
