To install the Windows Fax Service

When creating fax cover pages for sending via Fax Voip T.38 Console, the system cover page templates and Fax Service API (FaxPrintCoverPage function) are used. You also need Fax Cover Page Editor application to create your own personal cover page templates. For this reason, installation of the Windows Fax Service software is required for this functionality.

At the same time, it should be clearly understood that the Fax Voip T.38 Console software does not use the Windows Fax Service (Windows Fax and Scan) to send and receive faxes.

Windows Fax Service (Windows Fax and Scan application) is usually installed on Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 7 computers by default.

Windows Fax Service (Fax Server role) is usually not installed on Windows Server 2022, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012/2012R2 and Windows Server 2008R2 computers by default.

Fax Voip T.38 Console always trying to automatically install the Windows Fax Service on your computer during the installation process if not installed.

You can easily fix the Windows Fax Service installation in one click using the Repair Windows Fax Service button in the Fax Voip T.38 Console Control Panel, on the Tools tab of the Ribbon.
