Previous Next

With Remote Desktop Connection (RDP) you can remotely configure and run applications at your computer. RDP is a standard Windows feature, no need to download complicated, sometimes poor-quality third-party software. You can use RDP to remotely install and configure Fax Voip T.38 Console application. The administrator account should be used.

To do necessary settings on the computer where Fax Voip T.38 Console installed, see Configure RDP on the computer I want to connect to.

To connect to the computer with Fax Voip T.38 Console from the other machine, see Connect to remote computer using RDP.

You can also operate with Fax Voip T.38 Console via RDP, but should take into account that some features may not work correctly. In particular, you can not use the Send a Fax with Fax Voip Virtual Printer function via Remote Desktop Connection (RDP). We also can not guarantee correct operation of the program in the case of multiple connections to the server operating system via terminal sessions.

Some of the most well-known problems and solutions when connecting via RDP described in Troubleshooting using RDP section of this chapter.

Note that if you need remote assistance, you should grant access to your computer via standard RDP connection, as described in this chapter. It should be noted that our experts do not use any other software for remote assistance.
