 Restart Fax Service at startup

This option is recommended whenever Fax Voip T.38 Modem operates with Microsoft Fax Service*. When Fax Voip T.38 Modem starts, Microsoft Fax reloaded. If you are using Fax Voip T.38 Modem with another fax program, do not use this option. To change this option, administrator privileges are required.


Fax Rate Limits and Error Correction

T.38 fax

Maximum bitrate

(Not implemented yet). The maximum bitrate is set to 14400. Nevertheless, this value can be reduced in settings of your fax program, if the program allows you to customize bitrate.

ECM

(Not implemented yet). Fax Voip T.38 Modem allows to use Error Correction Mode when T.38 fax mode is used. Possibility to use ECM in this case depends only on settings and capabilities of your fax program.

Audio fax over G.711 codec

Maximum bitrate

Select maximum bitrate for audio faxes (G711 fax mode). Maximum bitrate value can be set 14400/9600/4800 which corresponds to rate limits of standard protocols used for facsimile. This value can be reduced in settings of your fax program, if the program allows you to customize bitrate. The Maximum bitrate value can be overridden by the Outgoing Call Routing and Incoming Call Routing settings.

ECM

Check this option if you want to have a possibility to use Error Correction Mode when G711 fax mode is used. Possibility to use ECM also depends on settings and capabilities of your fax program. The ECM value can be overridden by the Outgoing Call Routing and Incoming Call Routing settings.
