To install the Windows Fax Service

Windows Fax Service (Windows Fax and Scan application) is usually installed on Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7 and Windows Vista computers by default.


Windows Fax Service (Fax Server role) is usually not installed on Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012/2012R2 and Windows Server 2008/2008R2 computers by default.


Fax Voip always trying to automatically install the Windows Fax Service on your computer during the installation process if not installed. Please note that automatic installation of Windows Fax Service is not supported on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008.
