Incoming Routing Methods (Email, Store in Folder, Print)

When receiving faxes using Fax Voip Console application (via built-in VOIP fax lines), you can configure Incoming Routing Methods to route incoming faxes to recipients on the network. Depending on the Caller Number and Called Number, different actions can be applied to incoming fax. These actions are defined by the so-called rules. The independent set of rules is used for each method.

The following Incoming Routing Methods can be configured:

Route through e-mail.
Incoming faxes can be delivered via e-mail to one or more e-mail recipients. To, Cc and Bcc e-mail fields can be used. The fax delivery format can be TIFF or PDF.

Store in a folder. Incoming faxes can be copied to one or more local or network folder. The format for saving incoming faxes can be TIFF or PDF.

Print. This method allow to automatically print Incoming faxes to one or more printers.

Fax-On-Demand. This method allow to send a specified fax to caller instead of receiving fax. There are no separated rules for Fax-On-Demand function. To use this function, you should configure basic rules in the Incoming VOIP Call Routing table.

 Notes

  • To use Incoming Routing Methods feature, you should have the Fax Voip built-in VOIP Fax Lines license installed.
  • The basic number of allowed rules for each method is specified as the number of built-in VOIP Fax Lines plus 1. The TRIAL version allows the use of no more than 2 rules of every type.
  • To significantly increase the maximum number of available rules, you can purchase separate license Extended Incoming Routing (E-mail, Store In Folder, Print, Fax-On-Demand). Note that this license can not be used in the absence of the Fax Voip built-in VOIP Fax Lines license.
