Using Fax Voip with FaxAmatic

FaxAmatic program can be downloaded from ElectraSoft website.

The most difficult aspect of configuring FaxAmatic (for use with Fax Voip) is to configure the modem. FaxAmatic does not support TAPI, so it can not be used with FaxVoip Modem 14400 bps Voice-Fax driver for modems. At the same time setting, proposed by FaxAmatic, are unsuitable to operate with Fax Voip via Virtual COM Port. Therefore, we ask you to carefully study the enclosed instructions.

To configure the FaxAmatic (for use with Fax Voip)

Start FaxAmatic .
Select Configure, then select Modem1.
Select one of the Fax Voip Virtual COM Ports in the COM-port field.
Enter ATE0V1 in the FaxModem Initialization String field.
Select Xon/Xoff option in the Flow Control section.
Select Class1 (fax class of your modem) in the Class Override field.
Select Tone in the When Dialing,Use field.
Select Line 14400 Baud – Port 19200 Baud option in the Maximum Modem Speeds section.
Select Send and Receive Fax option in the Modem Usage section.
Make sure that your settings are preserved.

Send a Fax with FaxAmatic

To send a fax

Open the document you want to fax.
On the File menu, click Print. On the Print dialog box, select printer ElectraSoft NT Print to Fax. Then, click Print.
In the FaxAmatic Send Fax window, enter the recipient name in the To field and the recipient fax number in the Fax # field.
To view fax, use View Fax button.
To change a fax for transmission,use Get Fax button.
Optionally select Include Cover page, if you want to include cover page.
Select Mode for your fax . Fine (200x200) or Coarse (200x100).
Click Send Fax to Single Recipient button.

FaxAmatic will automatically call the fax numbers and send the fax.

Incoming Fax Routing

When receiving faxes using Fax Voip Console application (via built-in VOIP fax lines), you can configure Incoming Routing Methods to route incoming faxes to recipients on the network... The following Incoming Routing Methods can be configured:

Route through e-mail - Incoming faxes can be delivered via e-mail to one or more e-mail recipients. To, Cc and Bcc e-mail fields can be used. The fax delivery format can be TIFF or PDF.

Store in a folder - Incoming faxes can be copied to one or more local or network folder. The format for saving incoming faxes can be TIFF or PDF.

Print - This method allow to automatically print Incoming faxes to one or more printers.
